Rick "RJ" Jullienne and Dale "The Coach" Eggleton interview Rugby League legend Jim Leis. Jim was a country boy born in Tenterfield moving to Tamworth where he commenced his Footy career with the North Tamworth Bears. Jimmy played in the NSW Country and Northern Division and was signed by the Western Suburbs Magpies in 1980. His rookie year was outstanding at Club, Representative and a personal level. Under the guidance of the great Roy Masters he established himself in First Grade and was selected for City vs Country. He was also selected in the NSW side for the interstate series against Queensland, the Kangaroos tour of New Zealand and he was selected in the history making inaugural State of Origin game for NSW. He also won the Dally M Rookie of the year, the Dally M Lock Forward of the year and almost won the prestigious Rothmans Medal. Jim played in over 100 First Grade games during his Rugby League career over 8 seasons. Three seasons with the Magpies, three seasons with Canterbury Bulldogs and two seasons with the Cronulla Sharks. Jim had some very entertaining stories to tell and we hope you enjoy Episode 3 of The Victory Wrap series as much as we did doing it
