A Journey Through Italy’s Most Iconic Island, Capri

In this video, WE HAVE VISITED the Italian island of Capri near Naples. Capri is a small but stunning island in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the coast of southern Italy. It is located near Naples, Sorrento on the Amalfi Coast. It is part of the Campania region and lies near the Sorrento Peninsula. Capri is known for its stunning natural beauty, historical significance and luxurious atmosphere with designer shops and traditional cuisine such as Caprese salad (mozzarella, tomatoes and basil). Its reputation as a glamorous destination dates back to ancient Roman times and continues to this day, attracting celebrities, artists and travelers from all over the world. Visitors usually explore the island on foot, by boat or by using the funicular that connects Marina Grande to the city center. However, local buses or interesting taxis are most used. We visited the Gardens of Augustus. These are terraced botanical gardens with stunning views of the sea and Via Krupp, a winding road down from the cliffs. We walked through the vibrant Piazzetta. It is the heart of Capri's social life, where visitors and locals meet in cafes and restaurants.
