In yet another blatant display of fear and desperation, Museveni’s regime has once again blocked National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, from holding his scheduled campaign rally in Iganga. Security forces—acting with military precision—diverted his convoy away from the main town routes, forcing him through remote backroads in an attempt to delay, frustrate, and ultimately derail his campaign trail. This calculated obstruction is part of a growing pattern of harassment, designed to wear him down and keep him out of public view. But the plan failed—again. Despite the roadblocks, delays, and intimidation tactics, Bobi Wine made it to Katwe Playgrounds in Mayuge District, where thousands of fired-up supporters had waited for hours. He arrived late, but the crowd never left. Their message was loud and clear: “We are not afraid.” This is no longer just a campaign—this is a battle for Uganda’s soul. And every act of sabotage only fuels the fire of resistance. Museveni may deploy the military, the police, and every dirty trick in the book, but what he can’t stop is the unstoppable wave of support swelling around Bobi Wine—especially in the heart of Busoga. The regime is cracking. And the people are watching.
