Using my expertise and meticulous craftsmanship, I embarked on the journey to restore this cherished instrument. Employing the same nitro lacquer used at the Gibson factory, I skillfully repaired the headstock, ensuring it would seamlessly blend with the original finish. To further conceal the remaining crack, I meticulously filled it with a tobacco brown nitrocellulose lacquer, precisely matching the guitar's unique hue. Not stopping there, I went above and beyond by refinishing the entire back of the guitar in a slightly darker tobacco brown, meticulously covering the entire repair. It's important to note that the color is a rich brown, not black, preserving the original aesthetic of the instrument.
