Buff Demon Avenger. :^) Demon Slayer is an absolute masterclass when it comes to visual design. This class is the closest thing to Mechanic in terms of embodying its theme. Everything about this class just drips style. From the mobbing to the bossing, Demon Slayer really does not have any issues. If anything, its above average when it comes to both. If at the cost, of being slightly awkward to play, considering its age in comparison to other newer classes. From a mobbing standpoint Demon Slayer has a bunch of options. Infernal Concussion is one of the better 4th job mobbing skills in the game when it comes to hitbox size. However, it's a little more awkward than most skills. Since its split into 2 attacks, the first, which deals 1 line of damage, and the second, which is the actual mobbing portion of the skill. What makes this awkward, is the delay between the two, can lead to instances where timing the explosion part to tag the mobs you want to hit, requires more attention than a common mobbing skill really ought to. This can be alleviated with AS0, but it's not entirely necessary. For bossing, where do we even begin? Mobility out the wazoo, Glide, Rush, Flash Jump. Has them all, and they're smooth af to use. Feels incredible and allows you to dance around bosses attacks rather effortlessly. For damaging, you have effectively 2 "bursts", one combining Demon Awakening and Orthrus with Big Snek. The other being Demon Bane. Demon Bane also doubles as an i-frame, so it's more utility than some burst skills, without running into the issues of other Burst/I-frame hybrid skills in the game. The CD does leave a lot to be desired though. Keeping up Blue Blood is really the only 'difficult' thing about Demon Slayers bossing, and even that, is kind of a lie. It's more awkward, than it is hard. Keeping it up in Dojo is really the only time you'll run into issues with the skill, and in June. The issue vanishes entirely, so I wouldn't let it taint your experience too much. For now, just keep it up the best you can, and in the future, revel in the freedom of it being a toggle. Win-win. Demon Slayer is probably up there with Aran and Adele as one of the warriors I would recommend to everyone to try. The class looks amazing, it plays really well despite its age, and it's pretty dang good at just about every aspect of the game. There's not much else this class could have without giving it kishin to boot. :^) Follow me on Twitch and Twitter if you haven't already for notifications when videos and streams go live, and join the Discord to join everyone for memes, game discussion, gacha-games and notifications!
