While some local guides list it as "moderate" (around a 3/10 on a flat-trail scale), the rain factor easily bumps it up to a 5 or 6: The Mud: The trail from Alcindor Trace becomes a slick, clay-like mess after rain. Every step requires double the energy just to maintain grip. The Incline: There is a notorious ridge you have to cross. On a dry day, it’s a steady pull; on a wet day, it’s a "two steps forward, one slide back" situation. River Crossings: Depending on the path you took, the water levels can rise quickly, making the stones slippery and the crossings more technical.
