Here is a look at the remodel/reopening progress of the Fairfield Chuck E. Cheese. Around the end of 2020, they permanently closed due to franchising issues I believe as this was one of three franchised stores in California. They reopened as an arcade called "GameX Pizza & Arcade" but clearly that did not last a while. They have began (and are almost completely done) re-opening as a remodeled 2.0 store. Unfortunately they no longer will have animatronics but it's cool that they are reopening as CEC nonetheless. I may come back when they officially reopen. Filmed on 6/29/22
