Falls are common causes of serious work-related injuries and deaths. Whatever heights you or your workers are working at, both employees and employers should know their responsibilities related to fall prevention. Fall protection planning can help to eliminate the hazards or control the risks associated with working near openings or at heights. During this webinar you will discover why it is important to: Establish written fall protection policy and procedures relevant to your workplace and inform workers about fall hazards and how to work safely at heights. Identify all areas where there is a potential of injury due to fall. Make sure all protective equipment, clothing or devices are provided and ensure workers use and know how to wear the appropriate fall protection equipment. Make sure your fall-arresting system consists of the required components. Act on information provided by workers (e.g., safety concerns about the situation, when equipment is broken, defective, or missing, etc.).
