In this video, after initially seeing a cart of yarn in Hobby Lobby I knew was going to be marked down, I finally got all 25 skeins after it took 15 trips in 6 days for me to find it clearanced. So, I EARNED this yarn. See? When I say I'm a RIDICULOUS person, I'm not exaggerating. During one of the 15 trips, I found a squishy or stress ball shaped like a skein of yarn, a plastic box to hold my hooks that has depictions of yarn on it and some metal rings in the macrame section to make some crocheted purses/bags. I went to Michaels and - as ridiculous as it sounds - left frustrated when I found a skein of yarn on clearance, since it meant to me that this new yarn, that had never been in my store before, wasn't going to be sold there. I tried to get something Wednesday related from the second Wendy's in my town, after the first one threw away all the promotional materials I had asked for for my niece, but the second Wendy's ended up throwing their poster away they said we could have, too. I show the pieces of a Wednesday ornament, like the Heidi one I made for my Mom, that I plan to make for my niece - something she'll love way more than any fast-food posters. I found my niece (and myself) some Gushers gummies that are Wednesday themed. When I hear the chipmunk that's been living in our backyard for over 5 years chirping, I digress to tell her story. I went to Ollie's and found some cool Friends and Harry Potter advent calendars. And a trip to a pawn shop where I found the complete series of The Golden Girls on DVD for $10 and a copy of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, prompted me to talk about a video idea I have for the future - me taking my obsession with TV shows and movies and translating that into a video where I discuss many of the crochet/yarn/knitting related references I know of from some of my favorite shows and films.
