Hyperactivity, asthma attack, and cholesterol imbalances are other disorders that can happen due to the excess intake of foods using these preservatives. However, BHT has been banned in several countries. Benzoic acid is yet another preservative that is used primarily in various kinds of sauce. This again can lead to hyperactivity and also skin and eye irritations. It is absolutely a no-no for asthmatic people and can also lead to neurological problems.
