Frosty's Projects - 2001 Expedition K&N Cold Air Intake

In today's video I'll be installing a K&N Cold Air Intake onto my 2001 Ford Expedition XLT. This intake can be installed on all Ford Expeditions from 1997 to 2004. It will also fit on Ford F-150's of the same year range with V-8 engines, both 4.6 and 5.4 liter. This system is not the V-6 motors. The K&N product is VERY complete and has clear installation instructions with photos. There was only one unexpected quirk with the installation which I explain in the video with my solution. Here is the link for K&N filters: https://www.knfilters.com/ford/expedi... The website says that there is an increase of 10 hp and 15 ft/lbs of torque. I don't know how accurate these numbers are but I can say that there is definitely a noticeable difference, especially in the top end. I will update this description once I have run a couple of tanks of gas through the truck and figure out if there is any impact on fuel milage. I hope you find this video helpful and informative.
