In this video I compare the stock bridge pickup of my aliexpress ordered funky looking Gretsch (i guess its an electromatic. Not sure what it is as it has a serial number starting with a U) with the TV Jones Ray Butts Full-fidelity Filter'tron bridge pickup, in a musical context. Made the backing track, and recorded the guitar tracks with a Sennheiser Md421 and mixed it a little with the line output of the amp. the amp used: Hughes and Kettner Surf (transistor amp) Used the same amp settings but as the output volume of the TVJRBFFFT pickup is lower i adjusted the volume while editing. Amp settings: (forgot to put the picture of it in the video) LEAD (dirty) channel: Gain: 2/10 Master: 3,5/10 EQ: (left bottom: -5, noon:0, right bottom:5) Bass: 10 o clock (-2) Mid: 2 o'clock (@(Theorik Bass 2)+2) Treble: 11 o'clock (-1) MASTER: Reverb: 1,5/10 Master: 5/10 Only had money to swap the bridge pickup for a better one. If you have too much money feel free to send me the ray butts neck pickup. thanks ps: the music room (mancave) is messy i know, but it's gotten better since I swear.
