The A39 Tortoise was a 78 ton British assualt tank developed during WW2. Its incredibly thick armour was intended to be impervious against any German defences, including the 88mm L/71, a.k.a the KwK 43 of the Tiger II. The simulation shows the APCBC of the 88mm impacting the driver's side of the Tortoise at around 250m. While the front of the Tortoise is upto 230mm thick, this area is said to be 152mm thick by the Tank Museum (due to it being sloped). Post-war testing of the Tortoise showed it to be impervious to the 88mm, and its own 94mm, at 1000m, but it can be seen that it still [barely] holds up at 250m as well.
