I acquired this particular Seiko because of the Arabic dial. Something different here in West Earth. Something different for me to look at in this ever fade to black world. There is light, all is not gloom.. And as apocalypse's go....? I am sure it could be worse.. Apocalypto incommodo. I do however, only speak for myself. I was not prepared for the size of this watch. During the 8 or so weeks it took to get to me, I had considered that a strap replacement could not happen due to the 9 or so millimeter lug width and the integrated bracelet, plus the comfort reputation from the Seiko 5 folded link offerings... Would it even fit over my hand onto a 8/8.5 in. wrist? Well... It did fit over my hand and onto my wrist. It fit perfectly, but just. It dangles at the bottom of my wrist when I want it to and it sits on the top of my wrist and stays put, when I want it to and I didn't have to remove a single link. It's light and not uncomfortable with no-ish hair removal. What more could I ask from a Seiko 5 bracelet? Could it be karma? The dial is deep and and attractive.. I realize this is an 'Arabic' watch made generally for Arabic speaking countries so the days of the week are in Arabic and I won't bore anyone with the vernacular. The numerals never get boring to look at. The logo's 'Seiko' and '5' are applied, as is the day/date window surround, which is pronounced and classy. The dauphine handset's hour and minute hands are LUME equipped as are the hour markers, which makes this watch very useable. The second hand appears so thin that I am surprised it doesn't buckle under the torque that the movement puts out to make it rotate..... or gravity. So, can I wear this tiny behemoth? You bet I do... I am wearing it as I write this. It wears..... big? In the same way a large watch wears.... small? Sure, I will go with that. For me...? I have no problem with large watches on small wrists or small watches on large wrists. It's a distinction that really has zero basis in reality. It is certainly not a fashion issue.... obviously. I have a few large watches.. Some look better on me than others. Some look big even on my large wrist... It all depends on the design of the watch and how it blends. #Seiko #SNK063
