USGolfTV at the PGA Show: Nippon Golf Shafts
USGolfTV got a quick look at Nippon's golf shafts at the PGA Merchandise Show. Notable players to use Nippon's shafts include Henrik Stenson and Sergio Garcia. The wedge shafts come in three different weights: 105, 115 and 125. (115 pictured). Nippon is promoting steel wedge shafts that flight the ball with lower trajectory and higher spin, providing pinpoint precision and accuracy on wedge shots. This lower trajectory/higher spin also helps reduce the effect of outside elements on distance control and accuracy, like wind in flight and rollout after landing. The 115 shaft provides a mid-kick point and consistent feel throughout the shaft, offering superb control in the hands of most golfers.
