A sliver of the wildlife that made use of one of our conserved places in The Hilltowns of Western MA. Please visit www.hilltownlandtrust.org/donate to help conserve wildlife habitat! Video description: title card reads “Springtime on a Hilltown wildlife highway.” Video then progresses through a series of clips of wildlife captured on a wildlife camera pointed at a wildlife trail in the woods of Western Massachusetts: a coyote walks slowly in the distance while sniffing the ground, then faster down the trail towards the camera, and off the right up a slope; a large black bear wanders down the trail towards the camera, then gets very close and audibly sniffs the camera; at night a moose sow walks in front of the camera and then up the trail away from the camera; at night a bobcat walks down the trail towards the camera, stops near the camera to scent mark and scrape the groung, then walks off frame to the right; two young bucks bound down the trail towards the camera one after the other, then off camera to the right; a coyote runs down the trail, following nearly the same path as the bucks; a young buck runs up the trail away from the camera, then stops, turns around and walks back, pausing in the trail to stare at the camera for a bit, then slowly starts walking backwards while staring at the camera. Ending credit card reads “With thanks to our generous members, who support wildlife conservation in the Hilltowns, and to Tim Antrim-Cashin for the excellent wildlife camera set up.”
