Welcome to Part 2 of our wild off-roading series at Forest Hill Resort, Chandigarh, in collaboration with Wild North Events. If you thought Part 1 was thrilling, Part 2 brings even more action, steeper climbs, and intense moments from the trails. This section of the trail featured sharp inclines, deep articulation zones, tight switchbacks, sudden drops, and muddy dips, putting every driver and vehicle to the test. 🚙 Toyota Hilux The Hilux, known for its toughness, faced real challenges this time. Its long wheelbase made navigating sharp turns and steep elevations difficult. Despite the struggle, it held its ground and completed most of the obstacles, showcasing its sheer power and durability. 🚗 Toyota Fortuner The Fortuner delivered one of the most consistent and reliable performances of the day. It conquered every dip and climb with ease, maintaining balance and power where many struggled. Its refined suspension really shone in this terrain. 🛻 Maruti Jimny & Mahindra Thar Both these compact off-roaders were impressive on the tougher trails. The Jimny’s lightweight body and short wheelbase helped it flex and manoeuvre through tricky sections. The Thar, with massive tyres and modifications, tackled climbs with brute force. Watching them dance over boulders and flex through dips was a thrill. 💥 Showstopper Once Again: Lifted Mahindra Bolero (4x2) The same 4x2 Bolero from Part 1 returned to surprise everyone again! Though lacking 4WD, the driver didn’t back down from any obstacle. On steep climbs, the Bolero understandably needed a bit of a push — but on flatter segments and mid-level climbs, it was surprisingly capable. The highlight moment? When a fallen tree blocked the trail, the Bolero stepped in like a rescue rig — using brute strength and teamwork to help clear the path for the rest of the convoy. That moment earned it the title of the true hero of the day, showing that sometimes attitude and presence matter more than pure specs. 🎥 Captured in raw, real trail conditions – no retakes, no faking!
