“I was there when Lily-May was born… and I was there when she was ripped away from me.” Those are the words of Leanne Vaughan, whose 17-year-old daughter was killed in a road traffic collision in Shawbury Heath, Shropshire in February 2023. Lily-May was a passenger of the vehicle, which was being driven by her boyfriend Logan Addison who was 17 at the time. Addison is now serving a five-year sentence after he was found guilty of causing death by dangerous driving earlier this year.
