We’re excited to share a preview of Changi Airport Terminal 5 (T5)! The mega-yet-cosy terminal is designed to handle about 50 million passengers annually when it is completed in the mid-2030s. The terminal’s design concept is characterised by overlapping roof leaves which are curved and come with varying heights, breaking the mega terminal into different social spaces that feel cosy and welcoming. For the first time, T5 will see Changi Airport house a ground transportation centre within a terminal, bringing together train, bus, and other point-to-point transport services, and connecting travellers seamlessly to the rest of Singapore.
