Feeding crows in the snow - Berkshires April snow

Welcome to the Berkshires of western Massachusetts! Normally, it does not snow in April, but so far we've gotten four snowy days this year (2025). We have a group of chatty crows who live on our road and I've been feeding them a few times a week by throwing out whole, shelled peanuts to them. When I do this, I give a specific whistle, and now when they hear the whistle, they get excited and call out to other crows. Twice so far, they have left presents on our doorstep, which is pretty neat. The first time it was a shelled peanut placed right on the mat by our front door, and the second time it was a bunch of flowers in the same place (this was weird because it was January, so no flowers were readily available outside). Here's a video showing about a minute and a half of some crows walking around the yard, making noise, and then me calling them and throwing out handfulls of peanuts, and them flying in and eating.
