Our ACL Injury Prevention Program is designed to correct biomechanical risk factors of ACL injury and to improve strength, power, and agility. The ultimate goal of this program is to keep kids on the field performing at their best. We offer a comprehensive assessment to screen athletes for risk factors of ACL injury and to assess the athlete’s strength, power, and agility. This includes an assessment of leg strength, vertical jump power, horizontal jump power, single leg deceleration, and agility or change of direction technique. The results of the comprehensive assessment are used to develop a personalized training program for your athlete. Programs often consist of functional strength training, agility, and plyometric training to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury. Additionally, we can work with your team through our performance training workshops to guide your athletes through dynamic and sport specific warmups to improve performance and reduce injury risk. ------------------------------------- The Nicklaus Children’s Sports Health Center in Pinecrest is one of the premier services of its kind.
