This week’s portion is a song that Moses sings to all Israel before he dies. It is like a farewell message, full of warnings, hope, and reminders of God’s faithfulness. Summary: 1. Heaven and Earth as Witnesses – Moses calls the heavens and earth to listen to his words. His teaching will be like rain that gives life. (32:1–3) 2. God’s Greatness – Adonai is the Rock: perfect, faithful, just, and upright. (32:4) 3. Israel’s Unfaithfulness – The people have turned corrupt and acted like children who forget their Father. (32:5–6) 4. Remember the Past – Moses tells them to remember how God found Israel, guarded them, and carried them like an eagle carries her young. (32:7–14) 5. Israel’s Forgetfulness – When Israel became full and comfortable, they forgot God and worshiped idols. (32:15–18) 6. Consequences – God will hide His face, and trouble will come because of their unfaithfulness. Enemies will rise against them. (32:19–25) 7. God’s Mercy – Even when it seems hopeless, God will not let Israel be destroyed completely. He will bring justice and show compassion. (32:26–36) 8. Adonai Alone is God – There is no other god. He alone gives life and takes life, He wounds and heals, and no one can rescue from His hand. (32:37–39) 9. Victory and Atonement – God promises to avenge His people, defeat His enemies, and atone for the land and His people. (32:40–43) 10. Moses’ Final Words – Moses reminds Israel to take these words to heart and teach them to their children, for they are life. (32:44–47) 11. Moses’ Destiny – God tells Moses to go up Mount Nebo, where he will see the Promised Land, but he will not enter it because of his disobedience at Meribah. (32:48–52) ✨ Main Lesson for Kids: • God is faithful, even when people forget Him. • His Word is life—like rain that makes things grow. • We should remember all the ways God has cared for us and trust Him always. 🔹 Torah Portion: Ha’azinu (Deuteronomy 32:1–52) 🔹 Translation: Tree of Life Version (TLV) / based on scripture text 🔹 Great for: Kids ministry, Messianic congregations, scripture memorization, family worship 🙌 “Take to heart all these words… for they are your life.” (Deut. 32:46–47 TLV)
