Holmen & Robertsen proudly launched our Cod Loins and Tails at Jacobs Holtet and Jacobs Majorstuen in Oslo. Jacobs Holtet is widely recognized as Norway’s leading premium food store and has been awarded Europe’s Best Grocery Store — winner of the industry’s so-called “Grocery Oscar” (AIDA Award). For us, partnering with a store of this calibre represents a clear alignment in quality, craftsmanship, and uncompromising standards. The official opening was led by Norway’s Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, Marianne Sivertsen Næss, together with Store Manager Arild Johansen and Head of Seafood Marthe Karlsen Moseby. This marked an important milestone for our company and our commitment to delivering seafood of the highest quality. Before the launch began, we paused to honor the sea and the fjord we harvest from. A traditional joik performed by Ivar Beddari over Varangerfjord created a powerful and meaningful moment — a reminder of our northern roots and our responsibility to the ocean. Our cod is longline-caught in Varangerfjord and carefully hand-cut in Vardø. Immediate onboard processing, cold-water bleeding, and meticulous handling ensure premium texture, freshness, and taste. From Arctic waters to one of Europe’s most renowned food stores — this is craftsmanship without compromise. Thank you to Jacobs for the trust and partnership.
