Cabin In The Woods Icarus Homestead Mission

The homestead mission in Icarus is rather simple. You are more or less making a log cabin and putting some furniture in it. There are, however, some elements that make it a bit more time-consuming than one might expect. As you need some ores for nails. I also had to spend some points unlocking some blueprints that I did not have, since I'm not into fancy decorating inside of a base, usually. They sure did pick a rather nice-looking spot for a cabin to be set up. It’s also not that far from a mine to get some of the needed ores for a couple of the furniture types that need it. A lot of what ended up being needed is just wood. I made quite a few trips out from building the cabin to other elements. I even gathered a lot of wood on my way to this location, and it was still not enough. I’m always down for exploring a cave. While it was not that large. It was a nice break from grinding the materials needed to finish off the mission. It seems campfire and I are just cursed in this game. I set one up at what I thought was a safe location. At least it was far enough away from the cabin that I mostly let it burn itself out. I did pick up a few of the bushes and other things that were on fire. As I wanted to contain it at least a little bit. Good thing this did not happen inside the cabin. While I could have made a much larger cabin. I felt it was a fun challenge trying to set up everything needed inside the space I picked to build in.
