The Dover HIGHdraulic Elevator Modernization - Update 3, 5/10/2025

After another week, I've returned to the garage to see how the progress is on the elevator. I didn't make a video last week as not much visually had changed. This past week, among a lot of other work, I'm sure, the techs have been busy ripping out the old Dover Impulse call stations and lanterns and replacing them with brand new Innovation panels featuring the generic and unexciting Bruiser buttons. Interestingly, it looks like this elevator is getting an upgrade with exterior floor indicators on every floor rather than just up/down lanterns. The COP is gone, and I'm guessing the new one will be going in this week. I'm sort of bummed as it looks like, at this point, the Dover parts have gone to scrap. Unless the techs have set the stuff aside and are waiting to reach out to me for some reason, I'm not getting the parts from this one. I left a couple very well-worded notes for the techs even offering to pay them to set the old junk aside and to communicate with me if they could or not, and I'm a bit shocked I haven't heard a thing. I don't have my hopes up, but I'm also not accepting defeat until the elevator is done and the techs have packed up. For now, enjoy the update on this modernization. Looks like they are moving through this one fast!
