Chris has reviewed a sackful of triple lens camera smartphones in 2019 and here's his personal favourites - the best tri-lens mobile shooters offering telephoto and wide-angle views, fully tested. Huawei was one of the first phone manufacturers to popularise the triple lens optics with the P20 and P20 Pro, and we still love the Mate 20 and P30 handsets for their brilliant cameras. For shooting photos across a range of conditions, including night time, you can't go wrong. And while Samsung's triple setup for the S10 and S10 Plus isn't as strong for pics, they're among the best for video recording. Likewise, Sony's Xperia 1 isn't perfect for photo quality, but this is one of our favourite smartphones for shooting cinematic movies with the Cinema Pro mode. And rivalling the P30 Pro for telephoto smarts is the Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, which offers a very similar telescope design. If your budget is a bit more stringent, then check out the Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 Lite. These also sport ultra wide angle lenses, although there's no optical zoom option on the Lite model.
