Bach's Flute Sonata BWV 1034 (flute & continuo) followed by Eterno Jovem Bach by Brazilian flute virtuoso and composer Altamiro Carrilho LeeAnn McKenna Recently returned to Oregon, LeeAnn McKenna lives in Newberg where she teaches and performs. LeeAnn has worked with some of the greatest classical flute players of the 20th and 21st centuries: Jean Pierre Rampal, Julius Baker (New York Philharmonic), Mindy Kaufmann (New York Philharmonic), Carol Wincenc, Lois Schaeffer (Boston Symphony Orchestra), Michael Hasel (Berlin Philharmonic), and Donald Peck (Chicago Symphony). Her performing has taken her throughout Europe and much of the East and West Coasts of the United States, as well as two tours to Puerto Rico. www.leeannmckenna.com Dr. Peter Joseph Zisa “Peter Zisa is one of the very few I have heard that goes beyond the notes to higher levels of musical understanding and expression. His classical training includes studies with such legendary performers as Maestro Andrés Segovia, José Tomas, José Rey de la Torre, Michael Lorimer, David Russell, and Oscar Ghiglia, as well as flamenco guitarists Bruce Patterson, Pepé, and Angel Romero. He has performed as a soloist and as a chamber musician at universities and various concert series across the United States and abroad, including Italy, France, Germany, England, and Japan.
