What this episode is about: In May 2022, our channel released a special episode titled "Why did you send the children? It's a special operation," an interview with three mothers of Russian soldiers who found themselves in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, as participants in the special military operation. In that episode, Gulnara, Irina, and Tatyana shared what they knew about their sons' fates, their thoughts on the war, and what they believed their sons were supposed to do in Ukraine—and why.
