FOX’S LOUNGE IS BACK. After 7 long years, Randy Alonso @raaaaaaaaaandy and his partner, Chris Hudnall @chudnall10 brought us back a piece of Miami history. Like his other projects, Randy’s goal in opening @foxslounge was to honor Miami, and this being one of its locals’ favorites - he succeeded. Miami has plenty of history if you’re interested in learning about it, but with so much new, it is easy to miss. Randy and Chris look for opportunities to bring back a classic and local feel in areas that have declined or become overly touristy. Randy started in the bar/restaurant business by turning his family’s downtown Miami clothing store into Lost Boy @lostboydrygoods- a classic watering hole designed with memorabilia from his family’s original department store from 1950s, they have a solid menu, live music (get there early it fills up quickly) and soon-to-be World Cup headquarters. Then came @Tropezonmiami, on one of those old school locals’ favorite streets - Espanola Way of South beach- where you can enjoy a variety of gin and Andalusian tapas.
