See more Matt Avery at his Facebook fan page and at mattavery.com. Let's make one thing clear: The Touch may have been a pop band, but these bitches played LOUD-LY! Virtually every "Touch" set started with this song "Under Control", originally written by Avery's favorite Columbus, Ohio band, Rosie. Avery thought it had the energy to kick start the show and really represented the "fire" and harmonies an audience could expect for the next 40 minutes. Avery also holds Rosie vocalist, Carl Shelor in such high "rock" esteem that he attempts a "Carl" imitation during this tune. Again, the venue: THE showcase bar in the Valley, FM Station. This FINAL inception is 4 piece with Avery old friend and Tiffany bandmate Michael Farrell on bass (with cool, cool cigarette in his mouth at intro), Avery on guitar and lead vocals, Rick Krusky (Rikki Skyye) on guitar and vocals, and for ONE SHOW ONLY, drummer extaordinaire, J.J. Holloway.
