The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular opened in August 1989 in Disney-MGM Studios in Walt Disney World. It is based on the 1981 film "Raiders Of The Lost Ark", and contains three suggestive moments in the film, building a stunt sequence around each element. (The temple/rolling ball scene, a scene from Cairo, and the plane/escape scene.) The show is held in it's own dedicated theater, which holds around 2,000 guests per show, and can be held every 75 minutes. The show starts in a roofed area, but once the Temple gag is over, the set is moved out of the way, and the next two segments are out beyond the roofed area. This does present a problem. The foreground is dark, and the background can be in very bright sunlight. Early video cameras had a problem with that, lol. And if it's raining, the last two segments are cancelled in the name of Cast Safety. This video is actually cut together from four shows, 3 of them in Standard Def and one is High Def, so the aspect ratio changes a few times, but at least the SD video has been resized to 1080p. But like Fantasmic!, this show has to be filmed in a couple different locations in the theater. And much of the show back in 2000/2001 was just... better. There is a separate scene from the 2000/2001 videos that showed the exploding truck setup in Cairo, but was removed from this video for continuity.
