Hopefully this is useful not only to those interested in the Iron Warriors, but for all Legion players, giving them an understanding of the concepts behind army building in Horus Heresy, and an idea of what each Legion can bring to the table. The Iron Warriors, the siege masters of the Imperium, forced into thankless and grueling campaigns at the whim of an uncaring Emperor. The Iron Warriors were my first Heresy army. Why? Honestly. Cause they’re so easy to paint. Their character and style of warfare is also very appealing, focusing on overwhelming firepower and brutal resilience. Their Primarch, Perturabo, is a complex character, and remains so throughout the Heresy, declining the powers that the warp had to offer until after the Siege of Terra. I hope you enjoy!
