Announcement - I want to announce a new series of Hawaii: Part II animatics I will start working on after Dream Sweet in Sea Major releases. I want to make updated versions of each animatic and maybe a few bonus ones potentially with non-Hawaii: Part II songs that I feel suit the story. This first version of the animatics has given me such a great opportunity to develop my characters and improve my story. My ideas have changed so much and I really look forward to showing that in the new version and exploring elements of my characters and story more in depth. It will be new and awesome and hopefully more coherent. I want these to reflect the new, updated version of my Hawaii: Part II interpretation. So yeah! New characters and an updated story! I’m so excited to see where the new animatics bring me and I want to thank all of you that plan on sticking around for that! Be on the lookout for Hawaii: Part II Interpretation Animatics Version Two! I want to thank you all so, so much for the support you all have shown on my animatics and my Hawaii: Part II Interpretation. It's something I'm truly passionate about and am glad there is such an audience for it. Every single like and comment means so much to me. Your support is a huge motivator to continue working on these animatics and improving the story. I am absolutely blown away by the amount of traction these animatics have gained. Thank you all so much for creating a welcoming space for me to share my silly ideas and let me grow as a storyteller and artist, it truly means so much. I love you all. Finishing this series has really made me sappy about how much the story and my characters have developed and changed throughout working on this entire interpretation. It’s cool to look back and realize how far it has come and how much everything has changed. Overall, I’m fairly happy with how this entire series turned out. I have to say, I’m pretty proud of myself for actually sticking to making these and now I have an actual tangible- almost short film length of animatics I’ve made now. This specific animatic, I do wish I was able to actually animate this more because I feel like there isn’t much movement. I also just want to thank you all so much for being patient with me as releases have slowed down so much since I started attending college and working part-time, it takes up a lot of my time. I’ve been having to squeeze working on the animatics in where I can. So, I’m sorry progress has been so slow on some of the recent animatics. I’m always working on improving my time management and that’s something I hope to improve on, so I can work on my animatics more efficiently. Sorry this one took so dang long, I’m still trying to find that balance between school, work, and personal tasks. I’m hoping to have this kind of figured out before I get further into undergrad. I also want to touch on the situation with Joe Hawley, so if you find this topic particularly triggering or upsetting, feel free to skip this section. I won’t be going into too much detail on the actual acusations, just discussing how this will affect the future of my Hawaii: Part II interpretation and my overall feelings on this issue. I want to start by saying that I do not support Joe Hawley or condone his actions. His actions are absolutely abhorrent and completely inappropriate. My animatics or stories are in no way meant to glorify or condone him because frankly, he’s disgusting. Creating such a dynamic with young fans and lashing out the ways he did is inexcusable, and for those who still support him and deny the evidence… I think you should reconsider your opinions and views, just do some good self-reflection. Joe Hawley defenders, please leave :) With that being said, please do not take this as an encouragement to harass or interact with Joe. With all this being said I still want to continue working on my Hawaii: Part II interpretation as to me it feels so detached from the album’s creators- and at times the album itself- that I still feel comfortable developing my characters and story. Hawaii: Part II itself provides me with an enormous sense of comfort and my interpretation gives me a great emotional and creative outlet. This was something I had been thinking about and considering a lot, so it took a while to make a cohesive statement. Just know going forward, my support is 100% with the victims and I don’t make these animatics to support Joe in any way. On a lighter note, again, thank you all so much for everything! Wishing you all a very happy, safe holiday season. Carrd: https://jabbiedraws.carrd.co/?fbclid=...
