The Hunt for Reef Jacks (Part 1)

This is part 1 of a 2-part episode fishing for Reef Jack (Mangrove Jack). We head out in convoy with a mate (Nicko) in his boat (Red Dog) in the afternoon to a Wreck near the Great Barrier Reef in Far North Queensland on the hunt for Reef Jacks and we found them in good numbers getting our bag limit to take home we also gave a couple to our mate Nicko. And we let a couple go too. We managed to fill the Esky with our Target species (Mangrove Jack) along with some good plate sized Large Mouth Nannygai and some solid Spangled Emperor all up it was a great night fishing with the weather turning it on for us after a choppy ride out.
