As well as the technique for the transition between these moves. I love using this transition when I’m performing and the beat drops! So this routine is focused on making that transition at the point the music changes. The track (Turn Up Burn Up by Diamond Oritz) changes regularly throughout. So a great to practice putting high energy into this transition as the beat drops. I’m using 2 x 85cm (33 inch) hula hoops with 16mm (5/8 inch) tubing. They are the lighter end of the scale which is great for learning hula hooping on the hands. If the hoop is too heavy it might cause bruising to your hands, so use something that you feel comfortable with. Hula hoop exercise routines series…. Each video includes a 5 minute hula hoop workout routine designed to build strength and work up a sweat! Before we get into the routine I will do a short stretching sequence and introduce the moves that are included in the routine. In all routines we work both sides; both natural and unnatural spinning directions. This may take a little getting used to, but the more you spin in the unnatural direction the more control you gain on the natural direction.
