One of the smallest Morning Markets in Luang Prabang | Life in Laos | Chris Fritze

In September 2022 my Mama Marlis came to visit me in Laos and together we traveled through the country for a month. Monica, the owner of Jumbo Guesthouse in Luang Prabang, invited us to explore her favorite local morning market together. So early in the morning we visited the fresh market in Ban Nongxay village outside of the city center. Even though it's one of the smallest morning markets in Luang Prabang, it has a lot to offer and it's very busy. Here she gave us an introduction into all kinds of local vegetables, fruits and Lao foods.
