@D.I.T.C O.C. began his career in the early 1990s, making his debut on Organized Konfusion's 1991 song "Fudge Pudge". He met Lord Finesse and Buckwild while on the inaugural Source tour, which led to his introduction to the D.I.T.C. crew. His debut solo album, the critically acclaimed Word... Life, was released in 1994 on Wild Pitch Records. The album, primarily produced by Buckwild, established O.C. as a vital lyricist in the underground rap scene and helped solidify his membership in D.I.T.C.. His second album, Jewelz, released in 1997, also received critical acclaim and featured his highest-charting single, "Far From Yours", which peaked at #81 on the Billboard Hot 100. D.I.T.C. Crew The D.I.T.C. crew is a hip-hop collective from New York City, founded by Diamond D and Showbiz. The name comes from the practice of "diggin' in the crates," or finding records to sample for production. The collective's core members include: Lord Finesse Diamond D Big L (deceased) O.C. Fat Joe Buckwild Showbiz and A.G. The crew released their self-titled debut group album, D.I.T.C., in 2000, which featured production from renowned artists like DJ Premier and guest appearances from Big Pun and KRS-One. O.C. has continued to release solo albums and collaborative projects throughout his career, often working with fellow D.I.T.C. members and other underground artists. @90s.hiphop_ @90shiphop33 @90shiphop-topic76 @hiphopofthe90s @imhiphop06 @HipHopUniverse @RealHipHop @Realhip_hoplegendary @90sHIPHOPJUNKIE @uproxx
