In August 2026, the trail guides at Mountain State Overland traveled to Utah for its sixth year on the Transamerica Trail. Up until now, the MSO team has been driving across the country year by year only going as far on the trail as they could in one week before returning home to their families and jobs. This team of overland and offroad enthusiasts started their adventure on the Transamerica Trail in VA and they are planning to conquer Utah on this adventure. In this episode, they start the season from where they left off in 2025 near Green River, Utah. Instead of opting to drive the exact Transamerica Trail route, their opting to spend their journey east of Salt Lake City to travel to higher elevations where the temperatures are cooler. This episode is packed full of 4WD action as the MSO team pushes their equipped trucks to their limits.
