This video records a special flight demonstrationn event at the SPA contest, Asheville, NC 2009. SPA President Bruce Underwood pilots the plane on its 6th flight since being restored after being purchased from the estate of the late R/C pioneer Ed Kazmirski. This is the first aerobatic flight demonstration for this plane that was designed, built , and flown by Kazmirski himself. Kaz's Taurus-2 was carefully preserved and was in excellent condition. This was the first time Bruce flew the plane; it was not yet completely trimmed for aerobatics. The engine is still not perfectly broken-in and the throttle setting was finiky, and needed to be rich. Still, this was the first aerobatic flight demo for this classic vintage pattern plane in over 40 years. Hope you enjoy it.
