Successful Redo Bentall Procedure a Complex HeartSurgery in a Patient with Severe HeartValve Disease

Mr. Manish Patil, a resident of Bhiwandi, underwent an open heart surgery for mitral valve replacement 10 years ago. Over the years, he developed aortic valve disease which gradually became severe and resulted in severe heart valve disease. At Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai, he underwent a major and complex redo Bentall’s surgery (post mitral valve replacement), a surgery to replace the diseased part of aorta and aortic valve, by Dr. Sanjeev Jadhav, Consultant, CVTS, Heart and Lung Transplant Surgeon and Dr. Shantesh Kaushik, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon.
