hi friends this is a lovely baroque era polyphonic motet which was written sometime between 1688 and 1698. charpentier was in residence at the church of saint louis in paris at the time. it is a pleasure to play music that has been around all these centuries. peace, rich i recorded this with my gemeinhardt flute in this lovely indoor swimming pool with the great natural reverb. as our friend phil "obihobo" turner calls, "the magic room". the camera is my old zoom blue q3 which i hope to upgrade one of these days to a camera where i can control the recording level to bring down the distorted sound.
