Ordinary Life is a stellar track off a stellar album. Samiam's Fifth Album, 'You Are Freaking Me Out', was released in 1997 as a follow up to the band's Atlantic Records release, Clumsy. When things went south with the major label, the band retrieved the rights to the songs and released them on Burning Heart Records. Myself and a group of friends saw them in an old open barn outside the Edge in downtown Orlando. I met James before the show and asked them to play a long set (I was young) as he was signing the back of my Clumsy sticker. He wrote, 'we'll play real long'. Classic. Still have it.
