EXPLORING LADAKH CHAPTER IV ********************************* With growing human interference this fragile ecosystem is under threat and varying climate is an additional stressor. According to IPCC report of 2007, various projections show that mountains are experiencing disproportionate warming. For instance, in the Tibetan Plateau the average temperature increase per decade over the last 50 years was in the range of 0.2 to 0.6 degrees centigrade. This work focuses upon the challenges of the better understanding and management of a geodiverse region with inclusive principles of human response to these abiotic components in a trans- Himalayan district with the aim to provide an insight to geoconservation. Lets reduce, re-use and recycle… but also learn to REFUSE.. the unethical geoecological practices. #ladakh , #documentary
