Hi there everyone, and welcome to a Random Sunday Funday Series. Each week I will be looking at two games on the Sega Megadrive Classics collection for the Nintendo Switch. And in this video, I am looking at COLUMNS, and it's home console follow up COLUMNS 3 . COLUMNS is your classic match three game, before they became all the rage. You rearrange a set of three coloured gems as they fall into the playing area in order to match three horizontally, vertically or diagonally in order to clear them. However, as you progress, the speed in which they drop increases. And if your pile reaches the top of the screen, it's game over. COLUMNS 3 presented much the same when it came to the gameplay, but added a 1-on-1 story mode, where the player took on various characters as they progressed through themed levels, as well as improved visuals and music.
