Orlando Travel Day | Cabana Bay | Manchester to MCO | CityWalk Orlando 2024

Hi all! In this week's video it is #travelday to #orlando Florida! We are so happy to share our Orlando travel day vlog with you all! We flew from Manchester to MCO and check in/ security was an absolute breeze. We had breakfast and a pint at Bridgewater Exchange and as we had so much free time with the quick check in we even had time for a drink at the Amber Alehouse. We flew with Virgin Atlantic and chose economy delight which gave us more space/leg room. The cabin crew were amazing, the food was ok for plane food and as long haul flights go it was pretty easy. When we got to Orlando International Airport we got a taxi straight over to Cabana Bay Beach Resort Universal where we will be staying for the next 2 weeks. We got checked in and upgraded to a pool view room which really did feel worth it and would also help in the coming days. We unpacked and freshened up and headed over to City Walk. Cabana Bay room tour -    • Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort Standa...   As we say in the video we were planning on doing the SkyCoaster at Fun Spot Orlando but unfortunately the weather was not on our side with hurricane Milton due in just a couple of days so there was a lot of wind and rain this day. Not to let this dampen our spirits we went to Red Oven Pizza Bakery for our evening meal and it was so good! We really enjoyed these pizzas and then decided as the rain had stopped we will get a Fat Tuesday drink and walk around #citywalk taking in all the sights. This really made it sink in that we were finally back! We noticed Hard Rock looked different but couldn't quite figure out why until looking at older photos and realising the paint job had been changed. We finished our time on City Walk with a Who's to blame Margarita at Margaritaville and a toast to Jimmy Buffett. They had live music on while we were there which was great as we had never seen that there before. It was then time to head back to cabanabay where we had a nightcap at Swizzle Lounge and tried a special Halloween Horror Nights cocktail. We then headed up to bed to prepare for our full first day and hopefully early park admission!
