Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium is one of the most famous aquarium's in the world - having the third largest tank (The Kuroshio Sea) in the world. It's a magnificent sight to see. Although there are physical bigger aquariums when you combine all their spaces than Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, this one holds strong when you look at the size of a single tank. This is a must see attraction in Okinawa. If you're looking to see a wide variety of sea creatures while in Okinawa, I highly suggest visiting this Okinawa Aquarium. It may be one of the best aquariums in the world. This aquarium is found in ocean expo park. Their most famous creature is a whale shark - one of the biggest fish in the world. They offer discounts starting at 4 pm each day, so be sure to grab your ticket and enjoy. We spent several hours here walking around. The aquarium was busy, but not overly crowded. We felt as though we had space and time to see everything and didn't feel there were people in the way, or we were rushed around looking at everything. We also found that it wasn't so big that it took forever to get through. You can see a variety of fresh water fish as well as salt water fish. They have great coral reefs in here as well. Due to all the work they put into this attraction, it has become one of the best attractions in Okinawa, and perhaps one of the best attractions in Japan!
