How to build a stretcher for a canvas.

In this video I show you how to build a stretcher with scrap pieces crate wood is what I use for this build. building a stretcher is pretty simple basically you're building a frame that's not going to be exposed because it is hidden behind the canvas but it has a specific duty as to keep the structure of the canvas and the painting intact. I show you how I go about constructing starting with the table saw and then on to the miter saw but the only twist is I use a miter trimmer for this completed dimensions for the stretcher I only use this because I'm familiar with it it may not be for everyone but I used to make frames in this thing is an excellent tool for making frames as well.
