Hexa on the run was just slightly north of 105k: (120k with fatal) To be honest, I was expecting the balance patch to come in February, so wasn't practicing much until it seems pretty up in the air even still (who knows if it will come in March) I'm glad I got this run out of the way. I was practicing at 119k which actually felt close to min cut, but I didn't manage my lc points too well so got apples for the last once a day runs to have a more resilient run. I made several mistakes that would have been costly in a lower specced run: 1. p1 dog ring swap from rt into ror didn't happen in test, lost a bit of claw uptime here 2. p2, didn't bind after ori burst as ror was running out, think if I bound the boss properly I could carry over the 3rd mini into p3. This snowballed into me having to do the p3 4th burst on bird side which shouldn't be required at this spec. 3. p3 tiger side took some time to get settled on. I didn't practice this part much so it was ugly for a bit. I still think its doable at 118.5k at the minimum with 1 ascent in dog, but I wasn't good enough at the boss yet to make that happen. At that spec you can phase out of tiger right as the ror ends, which seems to help with test timings later in bird. I think after the balance patch I should be able to solo Hard kaling without the mission, so maybe I'll try that. I had an unc moment and didn't fix my audio, so you can't hear. This was actually a 3 man run with Trevor (Shuka) and Chau (Shunou) helping call out stuff: i.e. kaling positioning, apples, test timers. This is one of the only times top classes like Paladin and Mercedes will interact with a Shade, so I don't take this for granted... Thanks to both above, especially Trevor who gave tips earlier on in my prog, and talked over decision making related stuff for p1 p2. He also helped me find visually easy indicator on the map on where to hit from the left side. The multihit spot is fairly tight. You can also move a little to the right from the spot to hit all 3 with multipunch, i didn't do this too often in this run though. Also special thanks to the wedding helpers, especially Miguel (izimpetuous), Roy (moonshade), and Conan (risingC) for the many wedding requests, and whoever I missed. I have bad memory... Thanks to Trevor again for funneling apples, and lilianwind for more apq runs. Kaling was pretty enjoyable (other than some weird bugs like ascents bugging on flys or dashes not actually moving the boss occasionally), I had a good time learning the boss.
