In "Daniel Plays in the Snow," it's snowing and Daniel is excited to play outside with Miss Elaina. He initially resists wearing his hat and mittens, but quickly realizes he is too cold to have fun. With his mom's help, he puts on the right clothes and learns that being dressed for the weather makes playing in the snow much more enjoyable. In "Calm at the Restaurant," the Tiger family and the Platypus family go out for a taco dinner. Daniel and his friend Jodi get very excited and have to learn that there are times to be silly and times to be calm. The episode's key message is to "Give a squeeze nice and slow, take a deep breath and let it go" to help stay calm. In "Munch Your Lunch", the kids get classroom jobs. Daniel wants to be line leader, but that's not the job he gets. He learns that every job is important! In "Big Enough to Help", Dad Tiger is building a playhouse, and Daniel wants to help. Daniel is disappointed when he learns he is not big enough to use the grown-up tools. His dad helps him understand that he can still help in other ways, like holding the door and bringing the paint.
