In my early 20's I was on the road for 2 years- so I created a handy repair kit combining everything I might need. While doing my 17th century Highlander series, I researched what materials would of been available and took the principles from my modern kit and created a historically inspired wilderness repair kit to take with me on my Highlander journeys.
